Can Vegetarians use HCG?

I am a Vegetarian. How Can I stay on the Diet?

This can be tricky because most food items mentioned in the HCG diet are meant for non-vegetarians.

The easiest way to get around this is to consider veggies rich in protein.

For example, you can substitute chicken breast or red meat with the same quantity of egg whites instead of chicken breast or red meat. Or, if you eat eggs, then try soybeans. Soybeans are a great source of protein.

Include nuts in your Diet. Beans are known as a protein powerhouse. Eat them in various combinations of green and dried beans.

If you can get the beans to sprout and eat them raw, you will get the maximum amount of protein.

One can substitute up to two meals daily with a protein shake, provided it has no milk or dairy.
